Just came across this news article/achievement. Without any knowledge of roads/conditions involved, it seems a pretty solid effort.

A very commendable effort. Most certainly required a large amount of preparation, as does any IBA distance ride. Well done Thierry.

Nicely done. And still not even a BBG. You have to give him credit for crossing borders, and the time suck that can be. But still, there are plenty of BBG+ riders that cranked out 1800 + miles in 24 hours. He's a legend in his own mind.
