2023 Rally Details

My only complaint is fuel economy which averaged ~35mpg through the course of the IBR. Supposedly the new V4 Rally has slightly better economy.

A GSA is still probably the smarter choice for rides like this thanks to better fuel economy, a much stronger aftermarket, and a cheaper price. But the Multistrada V4 is an outstanding LD platform without most of the classic Ducati shortcomings.

Maaaaannnn I'd love to get 35mpg at rally pace!! Being tall and heavy with a tall windscreen / etc... yea... I averaged 30mpg over the whole rally. And them gas prices in Canada... ouch!

Hey that was me!! Pretty sure I was the only one to cruise thru Winnepeg as the one rider behind me crossed back into the US in N. Dakota. I didn't mind riding across on the Trans CA Highway at all. It was my first time doing so, which added a lot to the whole adventure. The vast farmland and minimal traffic... and really decent roads... made for a good ride. I had great weather 'till I got over into Ontario and the last 300 miles into Thunder Bay kinda sucked in the rain.

I definitely averaged over 40mpg on my Trophy for Buttlite 9.

The Trophy is such a great sport touring/rally bike. I wish more people adopted it and Triumph kept it around.
