I am afraid you will all have to wait, Lewes is not looking to promising at the moment.
I am reserching a different venue, for the same dates.
But the Venue is closed until Febuary.
So the suspence continues! ! :):):)

Never mind Gordon, this would have been a real easy one for you if it all pans out.
Just a little clue, :D

Thanks for that John, good looking Pub, but not right for this RTE.
It doesn’t have any accommodation apart from camping and a bit too far west for the venue I have in mind. :)

Some of us had a great visit to a cold war Vulcan bomber last year. Thanks to Mark.
Well carrying on the theme how about visiting a cold war submarine.
HM Submarine Ocelot the Last Royal Navy warship built at Chatham Dockyard.
Or WW2 HMS Cavalier the National Destroyer Memorial.

The plan is,
Meet at 12 noon at the Historic Chatham Dockyard in the Mess Deck for a bite to eat with a group photo at about 1.30pm.
You then have a huge choice of attractions to visit during the afternoon not just the sub & ship above.
Book your tickets on line or pay on the day.

This is a weekend RTE so if you fancy staying and having a beer and a bite to eat somewhere in the evening,
book into the
The Royal Victoria & Bull Hotel N 51°23'27.3" E 0°30'08.9" https://www.rvbhotel.com/
16- 18 High Street
Rochester, England, ME1 1PX
[email protected]. Tel: 01634 819425

The price I have been quoted is £45.00 per room. I have been unable to reserve rooms, so it’s first come first served I’m afraid.
Let me Know if you intend to just stay for the day visit or stay for the weekend. And I will start the list.
