Having been the first one to do a ride on ANZAC Day before all these "rules" about spelling and attending Dawn Services (which I did do on my ride just because thats special to me) might I suggest we just get back to basics and appreciate the day and the freedom we have to ride? As my cert says..."celebrating the freedom to do so afforded to so many by so few".
My humble $0.02.

Hi Brookster. I'm not making light of this but is it really an issue?

Simply ride on the day as per any IBA ride, on a route of choice with or without attending a service and insert one's own wording in the cert, no probs.

For those preferring a challenge the ANZAC Day Ride rules addresses that quite nicely but no one is obliged to ride on the day as per those rules.

I think and agree that we do have an obligation to go for a ride on the day by way of respect, remembrance and celebration for having the freedom to do so.
