FM just called me from Albany.
They have had rain for most of the way this afternoon, but still keeping good time on the road.
It is still raining at Albany, but he does not appear bothered by that.
He is bright, cheery and coherent.
Not unexpectedly he is finding the ride “full on, always on the go.”
He has only had 2 power naps for the ride.
He feels as though he has recovered from the limited sleep at Barkly Homestead.

They will throw in the jerry at Ravensthorpe and then head for Esperance where they will probably take their rest for the night.

Go Fatman, Go Lynne The Pillion :)

I wonder what's going on with Ox. His SPOT dots are very irregularly spaced- often pairs together. Contrasting this are FM & L's dots which are very evenly spaced. It suggests OX keeps seeing roos and slowing down, then getting over the fright and speeding until the next incident giving cause for pause.

Roo's aren't usually a problem on this stretch ( I rarely spot any).
Changing the info to the last 8hrs gives a better spot track but it is still a bit erratic, could be due to weather / fog and he is riding into some heavy stuff soon
