The entry for the Brit Butt Tour is now open. [Original thread on the old forum is here.]

For a £20 fee you will get last years Brit Butt Rally book and bonuses electronically.

You can then use them to practice your rallying or just as an excuse to get out and ride and find places you have never been to before.

£5 from each entry fee will go to charity. In the first two years of the tour riders who completed every bonus gave their refunded entry fee to out charity. So this year the entry (for each rider that completes all the bonuses before the end of October) will go to charity.

All entries will receive a certificate presented at the National Meeting

More details and entry requirements are on our website Click here

Who would be stupid enough to ride straight past that though ?

On the positive side, it was you that has inspired the creation of this years "Pineapple Award" !!!

I think that I'll enter this year as I feel that I have "two in the bag" already !!!

Well it's easy to miss if:

a) The caravan's missing

and

b) When planning you set the location as a waypoint instead of a destination on the Sat Nav

What I still can't get over is thinking 'Oooh, that looks like one of the bonus location photos' as I rode past it

Still, I have an award named after me and how many can claim THAT honour I ask you?

Yes I checked out that location, mind did not manage to get a Gull to sit atop of the notice board like Coxy did.

Should have popped in for a cuppa John.

Hi everyone.

Phil pulled the old heart strings and persuaded me to score this years BBT again, so the first thing to say please bear with me I am only human and am a volunteer having to find the time between work, wife, 3 kids and when possible riding my motorcycle.

1.So please send your photo's to me at '[email protected]'
2.State the checkpoints you are claiming for.
3.Please read the checkpoint carefully, John the BBR rally bastard (sorry just a slip) asked for two pictures at some checkpoints, so read.
I've already rejected a claim which I didn't enjoy. Also don't visit any in your cars.

Any way the current standings at 01/02/16 are:

NO NAME TOTAL
1 Barry Coleman 9
2 Philip Wellman 0
3 John Theobald 0
4 Gordon Sears 5
5 John Cunniffe 0
6 Chris Butler 0
7 Jack Caldwell 0
8 Keith Langridge 1
9 Dave Thomson 0
10 Graham Lindley 0
11 Thomas Wendt 0
12 Foster Smith 0
13 Roland Fenwick 0
14 John Cox 7
15 Thomas Bode 0
16 Dave Craddock 0
17 Debi Devine 0
18 Steve Kirk 0
19 Wulstan Melling 0
64 Philip Weston 0
20 Alan Thimbleby 0
21 Mark Bates 3

So I hope you all enjoy the summer.

Wully

Wully I had the following email conversation with Philip re two photo points.....

Gordon
One photo at each location is fine. The intention is for riders to prove they have been to the location without the requirement to jump through hoops and possibly make mistakes.
See you at John's
Philip

Just to confirm.

Where there are two photos at the same location for the Rally (for example Border signs 2a and 2b), that only one is required for the tour.

Guess where I have been?
This is the place to test your gravel skills.
Left bike in the drive just off the road then saw the loose dogs sign on the gate post.
In click click and away only hope the Son Of Sam was in the posh garage.

I don't believe you rode over to Birmingham and only took 4 photos!

What did you do after breakfast?

Good job there's no time on those photos, but looking at the shadows...............
