Going well Lisa. Looking forward to watching the end of your ride via spotwalla. It was an awesome sunset here in Canberra, hope you got to enjoy it too. Just one of the many special things to experience on a long ride.

It's fun watching this Rob. She's doing so well! That little GS with knobbies, better watch she doesn't beat you to a dusty butt!

Oh I'm worried alright . . . what she lacks in age and cunning she more than makes up for in courage and determination - she gets stuff done sometimes just through shear will - she was like it when she was 2 years old and has never changed. Once she sets her mind on something, its best not to get in the way (and that includes trying to make her do something that she doesn't want to) - but I love that about her.

Such a fantastic effort from this young lady ........ keep on keeping on Lisa. I so wish I could be there at the finish to welcome her home!

Looks like Lisa has it by the throat.

I can't imagine just droning up and down the Doom for an IBA run, but we've all got to start somewhere.

Top stuff Lisa!

All the very best young Lisa. I'm sure there's been a heap of fatherly advise, no doubt a fair bit of motherly as well. I'm sure she will welcome Dad's escort home. Can't wait to read her ride report.

I've been watching Lisa's Spot during the day and followed the the chats both here and on FB. Absolute captivating, that some at that age and limited to a relatively low speed is on their first IB ride.

Congratulations Lisa, a fantastic achievement! Like many, you will always remember your first one and you did it the hard way .

Well, what can I say - I rode out to meet her at Sutton Forest where I found her stretching - her back is very sore and she looks pretty smashed - but what an effort! When I saw her get off the bike for her finish docket, I wanted to cry. I am so proud of her for so many reasons - I now have another reason to add to the list.

By the way, I am equally proud of my other kids for their own reasons - but thats a story for another day - today is Lisa's day - I could not feel more blessed as a father.

Well done Lisa. Gutsy effort taking on a license speed limited IBA ride. It's close enough to kicking off with a Not Right Ride I reckon, tough stuff! Taking on the Hume with that same limit is a big call too. Not too many of us really know what it's like to ride the MOAR (as opposed to MOAB) with a 90km or so MA. It's quite different to the kicking back, riding with the flow and passing trucks experience that may bore other riders (although I don't really get that). Despite that limitation, a sensible choice of route and very well ridden. With much respect Lisa, from me you get a "Woof".

Give Dad a tissue, he needs to harden up a bit.

What a ride Lisa, I enjoyed watching your Spot and I would have loved to be able to intercept you at Epping down here in Mexico at you turn around point but work gets in the way sometimes.

If you get time to write a report, I would like to read that for sure.

Proud day for Rob, blame him for the addiciton! :)

Well done, Lisa! It looks like you rode the plan. You can be well proud of yourself for finishing your first IBA ride and becoming an even more select member of a select group of world wide motorcycle riders.
