Hello from Lincolnshire

Hello, my name is Mick and I currently ride a KTM1190 Adventure.
I have done a few long rides, the longest being 630miles in one day. I have joined to get tips and advice as me and my wife are planning to to the RBLR 1000 in 2024. We regularly do 350-400 mile days, 1000 miles in 24 hours seems a big step!

Welcome Mick, most can ride the 1,000 miles in 18 hours plus fuel stops and comfort breaks, if the stops take up 15 minute each that can be as many as 10 stops which adds 2½ hours to the overall time.

Time yourself on a normal fuel stop/comfort break and then practice in getting that down to under 5 minutes each. That said if you do feel tired on the RBLR 1000 stop and take a break, it's better to get back to Squires late than not at all.
