I'm looking at the area again on a second pass of things this morning. I see that not possible to physically ride on Isle Royale NP, so stopping there at the VC there in Houghton, MI wouldn't exactly count. Okay, no biggie - how about Keweenaw National Historical Park up in Calumet? That looks viable, and it's only ~1/2 day away from a spot in Wisconsin - Apostle Islands National Lakeshore Headquarters over in Bayfield?
