Hi Bob, it sure is, I found a good price on Demon Tweeks, so I always have a set in the shed, but usually have my mechanic sort me a set and install on the wheels.
I have now bought an ABBA Wheel Stand with the GS adapter, plus some Motion Pro Tire Levers, fed up paying my mechanic stupid prices when I know how much the tires cost, and how easy they are to balance, plenty of YouTube vids on the simple task.
The Motion Pro's come with a patented feature on the Levers that allow you to break the bead, no room for a full-on tyre machine.
I went for the longer ones, as I don't plan on carrying them with me on the bike.
ha ha i had a home made one once but replaced it with a second hand one from e bay. just isn't portable on the bike. the motion pros look ok but seem to be a tad expensive for what is just a couple of fancy tyre levers. might have a go at making something this winter thats portable on the bike. i've a couple of ideas that might work and be relatively packable
