Some pics from Port Melbourne yesterday morning 2nd June.

Lynne the Pillion congratulating Rob on the ride so far.

Philmor, Rob and I

More receipts and paperwork for Rob.

The GS purring like a cat

Rob was cold when he pulled in with temps dropping to around 2 degrees through western Victoria.
Warming up inside with Philmor

We then escorted Rob to Flinders St. Station to obtain a pic for the Southern Cross Insanity Ride, then made sure he found his motel for the night, we then returned to the servo to see Frans and Farkleit arrive.

Me with Brian

Brian with Frans, happy boys to make it this far.

Brian, LTP and Frans

Frans with the good side of the bike

Here are some more photos from the rendezvous at Port Melbourne with Rob, Frans & Brian last Friday morning.

Rob arriving at Port Melbourne

Rob warming in the company of Fatman

Fatman & Rob with Lynne the Pillion getting in on the action.

We escorted Rob to Flinders St for a photo of the famous station building – unfortunately it was clouded with scaffold.

Brian (aka Farkleit) looking good despite having just dismounted after his epic ride.

Frans looking on warily as Lynne approaches him.

Brian and Frans are all smiles have conquered their Everest.

The rose between two tired motorcyclists.

Congratulations to all 3 riders on successfully and safely completing such huge rides.

Thank you for the pics
And thank you to Michael, Lynne & Phillip who came out in the middle of the night to welcome us in the cold. It was much warmer in Melbourne than on the road.

Wow how good was it to see some familiar faces upon arrival. !!! It been bitterly cold and my heated vest was broken. The warm smiles from these three legends was great to see.
Frans, thanks for everything and letting me tag along! I learnt a lot from such a genuine Jedi Master of the road.
Phillip, thankyou so much for the Pie and Coffee, and also for hanging around while we demolished them.
It was a shame Fatman and Lynn had to go to work.
To all who supported us on this epic journey, THANKYOU !!
