Hey all, I’m heading out in the morning. Got the route planned but here’s the hitch. I’m leaving out of Morriston, FL to Mobile, Al up to Nashville, then returning to Huntsville, AL as my end point. This requires me to head north on I-65, turn around in Nashville and head back south on I-65 to Huntsville. Am I good to go?

Yes you are as long as you get a dated business receipt at your turn around point. The better you can document your ride the easier it is to certify. Don’t forget to fill out the ride log as well.

Make sure you document your corners when you leave I-65 to Huntsville and be sure to include a buffer of at least 20 miles, 35-50 being better.

A quick and dirty route calculation of the listed start, mid point cities and end is only 975 miles.

Gday Kevin.
Add plenty of buffer as posted and really check the detail in those corner/ fuel/food/motel /ATM receipts
They can be out by hours or even a day or so.
Take a few photos along the way toas this distance is a great snapshot of a wide space in one day as you travel.
