Quick disconnect fittings?

I've installed aux fuel on two previous bikes, and in both cases I used Jiffy-Tite quick disconnect fittings for the fuel lines. The Jiffy-Tite QDs are dry break fittings and they don't leak, but the last set I put on my FJ-09 were kind of stiff and sometimes it took fiddling to get the QD coupled (with the fitting dribbling fuel the whole time).

I still trust the basic quality of the Jiffy-Tite fittings, but I wonder what other folks use. I'm about to add aux fuel to my Multistrada and I'm open to other options.

I'm using these brass hydraulic hose fittings $18.78 for the set, then get the corresponding 1/4" NPFT to barb connector that you want to use. The hydraulic connection is a double check so they won't leak from either side. No rubber seals to wear or leak in them.
According to the specs they have Buna nitrile O-ring seals, so there are rubber seals. Nitrile is compatible with ethanol fuel, though, so that's good.
