***SOLD***Maple Farkles Auxiliary Fuel Tank. Produced Oct/2017, Serial Number 17 with a capacity of 4.8 Gallons. Mounted on a 2017 R1200RT
Mounts sideways across your pillion seat. Does not interfere with the side cases either opening or removal. Uses the bar mounted under your pillions seat to mount the rearward portion. Uses the handlegrip screw to mount the forward portion. No modification necessary.
***Note.... You will need to supply your own M6 mounting screws, 6 in total. 2 for the handlegrip, 2 for underneath the seat and 2 to mount bar to tank base. Each is slightly longer than BMW stock. Can be purchased at any hardware store across the Country.
***Note.... You will also need to provide your own tubing from the tank forward and from the vent down and out the back. Fittings are installed and ready.
Rack is mounted to tank via quick slide screws. Many options to mount bungees, Pelican cases and the like.
Tank and rack both are painted with what looks like Bed-Liner spray. Tough and rugged.
Tank will have to be picked up in Kansas City, MO or a planned meeting somewhere. Shipping is not available. NO exceptions.
