Low profile tires are hard with the manual changer no doubt. But like you said, you learn and two things I've learned, heat and technique are the keys.

I bought a set of tire warmers years ago, best $200 ever spent, gets the tires so hot I can hardly touch them, helps tremendously with getting the tire on, and of course technique...I used to struggle so badly, once I figured out how to get the tire in the drop center and keep it there using a variety of methods depending on the tire and rim it became much easier.

I also use the Marc Parnes balancer for my my tires, awesome bit of kit. For car tires I use an old school bubble balancer, so far the tires I've done have been vibration free up to 85 mph which for my wife's Camry is almost double her too speed.
