Welcome to the IBA Australia forum

Welcome Dan, glad you found the site, can you tell us a little about your ride and what type of riding you enjoy.
I have a BMW R1150GS... always liked the air cooled boxer engines. Unfortunately it spends most of its life in the carport. I've hardly ridden over the last few years. I'd like to change that and get back out and about, I used to ride about 50,000kms a year!

A nice ride there Dan. A very reliable workhorse and an absolute pleasure to ride!
50,000 K's a year, that's what I like to hear. You can never do too many kilometres. I find I'm riding more and more, love to go for extended rides if your ever interested :)
Hope to catch up on the road somewhere, we live in a very small country :D, by the way where a outs do you live?

Yeah I like the GS. I had a ST1100 before, a really good bike but a bit dull even with that V4... kinda the Camry of the bike world. Probably would have been better for long rides but hey bikes aren't about being sensible! Had a few other bikes in the past like most of us. I'm up in FNQ. I won't have done 5000kms a year recently...

A warm welcome Roland. If you still happen to have a copy of your ride report post it up in the Certified Ride Reports under the Coast to Coast Series, I am sure it will be of great interest to other LDRiders :)

Working shift work is largely my riding enemy Roland. Permits me the opportunity to ride mid week, usually alone, but it makes the weekend get togethers more challenging. Safe travels mate.
