For those following along on Farkleit's engineering adventure, here is what the bulkhead looks like fitted, with a barb tail inside the bulkhead.

Location is the key with the FJR. The tank bottom is really flat and it is all very tight for space under there. Even the fuel injection return line can get in the way...

The pen scribbles were made while the tank was still fitted to the bike just to mark out some clear space as seen when peeking under the tank.

would this be about where you ran the aux tank fuel line?

I am fitting the old GTR Tank to the FJR

Gus, I didn't run it through the silver insulation like that so I have no point of reference to say if that is right.

And then i ran the hose along the outside of the frame and then in under the seat beside the rear brake reservoir. I had to take away a small amount of the side fairing at the front top edge. That area is hidden by the rear tank cover.

I did it that way to make it easier when i need to remove the main original fuel tank.
