Memorial 50cc Gold! Arrival "Rendezvous"

Meeting up with fellow riders after a hard riding adventure is an exciting and rewarding way to share the experience. Riders of the Memorial 50cc Gold, "Honoring George The Hard Way" have the opportunity to "Rendezvous" out of the New York City area after the ride.

The location and timing of such a "Rendezvous" could be worked out to meet everyone's arrival schedule. Lisa Landry is working on a good location, out of the metro NYC area to meet. It will be near a place to eat and even a hotel to get some well deserved rest. As for the timing of the arrival "Rendezvous," it might work something like this.

Riders who depart San Francisco at times between midnight and 6:00 am PDT on Monday, May 30 should arrive in New York City no later than 50 hours later, between 5:00 am and 11:am June 1. (Start time plus 50 hours plus 3 hours timezone difference = arrival time)

Giving riders a couple of hours to get to the finish DBR, IBA witness form signed off, ride to 1904 Broadway in Manhattan to take a picture at Wyman's finishing Waypoint, then out of the city, everyone could, conceivably "Rendezvous" between 2:00 and 4:00 pm out of the city.

So, what say you? Let's talk about it and see if there is a consensus to set up the Arrival "Rendezvous"
