It was a good question to ask because it's the second Super Tenere he's owned. That and he also owns a goldwing, which I call Donovan. For obvious reasons really.
Not sure about the detour at Southern Cross, I can see on the WA Road Conditions that there are roadworks at the point where he deviated?
I think he would need fuel there at Sth Cross?
He sent me an sms a few minutes ago stating he is running out of front tyre. Appears he would have enough to get home but not back to Sydney. Anywhere guys in Perth on a Saturday morning who may be able to fit a tyre to a Super Tenere1200? 110/80/19??
I called Tyres for Bikes when I was in Perth and they seemed responsive, but I ended up not going down that path, instead getting the BMW dealer to do my tyres as they were servicing the bike.
Gus, he was going to see how his knee held up and then decide once at Scarbs, but now the tyre and time to fit, opening time etc etc might decide it for him.

A bigger ride than that, although the 100CCC, I believe, was nestled into his target.
So I suspect the wriggle room will apply to his target, even if the 100CCC is lost.
I reached ceduna a few minutes ahead of schedule after a very foggy and cold crossing of the Eyre peninsula.
Once again thank you for your messages and offers to help.
Ron passed on his Spot and I may try to get it activated before some sleep
It was great to see Ron again and ride with him for a brief amout of time.
