How do I put a photo into the body of the post, not just a link? I use Dropbox and iCloud. So far I have only managed to insert a link not a photo?

Posting an image entails supplying a url to that image. What url are you supplying? and is it the correct one?

Dave, the easy way would be a Flickr account which is free, if going down the Url route as embedded link addresses are given.
Dropbox normally requires you to sign in first and isn't embedded.
No idea on iCloud, as I use the other fruit.
But both the above images where uploaded direct to the forum using upload a file in the reply box

Right click on the open link Dave and select Copy Image Address, enter that address into the Picture URL which will look like
https://photos-2.dropbox.com/t/2/AA...R8EVz5FBFLIBeTCStQWtwI?size_mode=5&size=32x32

Amend the yy x yy down to make the image smaller. (16x16 below)

Alternatively, change the end 0 to a 1
https://www.dropbox.com/s/br0ddrwlirc8hve/P1030080.JPG?dl=1

Which should do the same thing.

Thanks Roland, but the images are not embedded into your post either? Whereas earlier in this thread Sneezy has a lovely image of him on a pink PTW!

Mum interesting Dave, as it is embedded when I look at the post on my PC but not on a Phone!!.

Sneezy. That's all I did to upload from my phone, which show up on both Phone and PC.

You're either a long way off Bob or that picture's a bit small.

And don't blame the photographer either ;)
