Sorry if this is redundant. If it is I’ll delete the post.
Note: this works for the www url of GoogleMaps, not the mobile app. On my iPad, I had to delete the GoogleMaps app because it defaulted from the web browser to the app every time.
In a web browser go to GoogleMaps url.
Make entries until you cannot anymore.
Click on the web browser’s address bar, bring the cursor to the end of the cities (from left to right) until you find the @ symbol.
Immediately prior to the @ symbol, place a plus symbol + then a forward slash / then enter button.
A new blank entry window will open up on the left under your last entry
Repeat as needed.
