Brit Butt Rally 2026

Hi all, I’d like to enter the BBR for the first time next May.
How does it work with the base hotel, do you have to book a room for 3 nights or can you book for Friday and Sunday. Do we book the rooms ourselves or does the rally make a group booking?

You book the room yourself for the Friday and Sunday nights.
We will have the rally room available to store any gear you don't want to lug about with you.

Saphena is just waiting for me to do a little write up about it, and then registration will start.

I only got back from our Christmas RTE this afternoon, so I hope to get it done tomorrow.
 
I took over as the BritButt Rallymaster for the 2024 rally, and it was thought it would be for a three year spell. 2026 was due to be my last year in office, so I thought I would try and go out in style, with some, shall we say, more trying bonus locations in the mix.

As it happens, our President has asked me to carry on in the role, so it seems that this rally will not be my swan song after all, but I’d already visited many of the fiendish locations, so they stay in.

Welcome to the Utter Bastard Rally.

I have tried to make it a rally whereby novices can have a good time, and also be a finisher, or if you want to just have a great ride to some interesting places, you will certainly be able do that, but if you want to be an actual contender, you might just find yourself throwing a few curses my way during the course of the 36 hours. It’s a bit of a balancing act, and I won’t know whether I’ve got it right until it’s all over.

I hope I’ve put together a rally that all level of riders can enjoy. You be the judge.
