Brit Butt Tour 2026

Bagged four to and from Raceways. Arrived late and missed the IBA part timers. Plan A was to arrive at 14:00 hours but I lost 45 minutes due to an incorrectly signed detour towards Buxton that caused gridlock of the surrounding lanes either side of the A515. Immediately followed by traffic at a standstill on the A50, some muppet had ditched a car which took recovery 45 minutes to retrieve and the Police had a closure on both lanes.

Observation - Jack the Dog was a bit of a treasure hunt, hiding in plain sight in the Shard Riverside's open air dining area.

It's surprising how many people in the actual rally had trouble locating Jack.
As you say, hiding in plain sight.
 
Very understandable if they arrived when dining was in full swing...

I had to ask a parent if their child could vacate her seat and move her backpack which was resting on and virtually obscuring the memorial stone, fortunately they wasn't eating at the time or else I may have been told what I could do.
 
If I didn't like the three gates route to Ty Wybrnant Museum I definitely didn't like the forest road to Blakehope Nick Structure. It was like riding on ball bearings, for 12 miles . Anyway, got the photo :)
