I am planning on doing cc50 from jax to san diego at the end of March. Reading through this blog I see people saying we need to have independent witnesses like police or fireman at each the start and stop of ride. However, there really is no mention of that on the IBA website. Can anyone confirm if DBR are sufficient to prove trip?

We have never required badged officials to witness every stop. Back in olden times 
, we did require them at the start and finish, but that's all. Not any longer.
