Dogs in iron butt challenge

Hi,
First time poster. So, me and my girlfriend have a dog that rides the motorcycle with us. I know you can get a passenger on an iron butt challenge, but what about a dog if it rides too? Thought this would be really cool to do. I tried sending several emails and never got anything back. Anyone have an answer to this?

In any case, we can acknowledge you dog was on the ride, but we will not issue an IBA member number to him/her. You would not be the first.

Nice. Will that show on the certificate and can we buy an extra patch for the dog?

You suggest some wording for the certificate such as "Joe Blow and his wife Jane Doe, along with their trusty Saint Bernard Spike rode 1,027 grueling miles . . . ."

If you have the ride certified, you can purchase a patch for the dog.
