With the slight possibility of international travel opening up soon again, I am looking at the possibility of heading up to the Arctic Circle sign on the E10 during early December this year on my old Triumph Trident and sidecar

Is the E4 kept relatively free of snow ? My intention would be to head north until Tore and then take the E10 up to the Arctic Circle sign.

Cheers

Hi John...

The easy answer would be "it depends on the weather"....

Even if the major part of your route is along the coast with possibilities of mild weather I wouldn't count on it being ridable...(without studded tires of course... ;-) )

The E4 along the coast is a main road. Their intention is to "keep it clear and salted" every now and then.

My best answer is......

Sorry....it all depends on the temperature....:-(
