Built by Riders, Refined by Feedback
The 2026 FarRoad calendar brings together our established rides — including a nod to the Iron Butt Muster and Davo's Ride, and the familiar Standard FarRoad in Coleraine, Victoria — alongside new formats introduced directly in response to rider feedback. Ganmain debuts a Ride, Stay & Share the Night category, offering 500 km or 1000 km options with a hosted overnight, while Arkaroola introduces FarRoad’s first Adventure Ride, featuring a purpose-built 800 km in 24 hours dirt-focused category alongside the existing sealed-road options.
Coleraine remains a cornerstone of the calendar, but 2026 adds two distinctive challenges: Come and Try a SaddleSore 1600, a supported pathway for riders tackling their first Iron Butt–style ride, and the return of Race the Overland, an 800 km / 12-hour group ride using a proven Melbourne–Adelaide route. Together, the 2026 program reflects what FarRoad is about — credible long-distance riding, thoughtful evolution, and a willingness to innovate in ways that reinvigorate the long-distance riding community.
Calendar now published on the FarRoad site.
