Finding my Membership Number

I would like to order patches from the store, but I've lost my membership Number.
This is the ride I completed, from your Data base
2016 Minuteman 1000 Motorcycle Endurance Rally
Daniel Evans 06/18/16 H-D FLHTKSE 1,078+
Anyone know how I can retrieve my number.
Thanks
Dan

Did you also a SS1000 on 12 May 2024 riding a BMW K1600GTL? If so, #85626 is the number you seek. (only rider by that name in FL in the database) but the number doesn't look right for a rider having done a 2016 ride. If you did the 2nd ride, I suspect you didn't nominate your IBA number and you have been given a new number.

Otherwise, did you get your original ride certified - the reason I ask is that there appears to be a number of riders from that ride that do not appear in the database. It may be that they did the ride, but it was never certified (for some reason) - or it may be that there was a specific issue with the data import of some entries.

Hope this helps.

I live in Florida now, but at the time I did the ride I lived in New Hampshire. Does that help finding the number.
As far as I know the ride 2016 Minuteman 1000 Motorcycle Endurance Rally was a IBA sanctioned event.

No NH Evans' or NH Daniel's (in the right number range) in the new database. Perhaps there is/was a difference between a 'IBA sanctioned event' and the ride having been 'certified'. I'm at the limit of my knowledge of these things so I'll leave it to those more in the know.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

Doing the Minuteman 1K rally doesn’t automatically get you a cert. You can submit a SS1K ride and just say you rode in the 2016 Minuteman rally, BUT, the rally staff would need to verify your mileage. Some Rally Masters used to submit the ride to the IBA for you as part of the event.

Note that since it's listed in the IBA database, you should have a cert and number associated with it. You may never have been sent a cert, or may have been given one at the rally finish. You may be able to contact the Minuteman staff and get more info. No idea if anyone still responds to this email: [email protected]

Have you tried the contact link at the IBA eStore?

In the old list I found.

Daniel Evans 06/18/16 H-D FLHTKSE 1,078+

But no membership number.
The big old list doesn't list IBA numbers. There must have been a 'master number list' somewhere which was used to create the new database.

@EricV - I suspected this might have been the case but wasn't sure. Thanks for the confirmation! Given the mileage is recorded in the big old list -one might suspect that it has already been 'verified'. Perhaps a US based verifier could provide some guidance on how @Twistedrider should go about becoming certified. @Ira may be able to point @Twistedrider in the right direction given the specifics of the situation (and the assumed difficulties if one was to have to 'prove' the ride to IBA standards some decade later).

It's true that back then the Minuteman 1000 staff and we sometimes had a communications breakdown, resulting is some riders not getting member numbers issued.

I've asked Mike to issue Dan a member number in the same number range that we were using at that time.

Ira

@Ira - Apologies for calling you in like that but I figured a bunch of us sitting around chatting in the forum wasn't going to progress the issue. Your assistance in this matter is nothing short of legendary.

Actually, I had DMed Dan when I first saw this post, but in any case, thanks.

Ira, Thanks for the help. I'm not sure of the status of your request to Mike. But, as of this time I've not received a member number.

I just sent Mike a reminder to do so.
