Please do keep in mind that riding gloves are armored for a reason. Riding in the rain could be considered a higher risk for crashes than riding on a sunny day. Reduced visibility, surface conditions, etc. As cool/wet weather work gloves, those are an excellent find! As riding gloves, perhaps not so much.
Secondary to gloves, hand guards and heated grips can really improve rider comfort in cold/wet conditions along with waterproof gloves or glove covers like the Aerostich Triple Digit covers. Heated grips can be done cheap by just buying the elements and using them under any grips you have with a multi position switch. Hand guards, when you consider them for weather protection rather than banging off trees and brush, can be inexpensive. Or sturdier versions exist on Amazon and Ebay for mid $30 range that work well on many bikes.
