regardless - If we go for it when we go - we're probably going Mt Evans...

Heh, I'll be paying attention.. I'm debating this ride myself this summer, since I'll be shuttling between CO and NV 3 or 4 times.. I wonder if the additional time spent going up Evans while on the clock balances against having to wait for opening hours at PP...

Anyways, post a Ride Report when you finish!

There is a giftshop at the base of Mount Evans. I got a receipt there and rode to the top, my Spot Tracker shows when I started the ride at the top (time, date and place) and I got another receipt at the giftshop on the way down and headed west. It's only a 1000+ mile ride, there is time.

I couldn't decide if I wanted to do the Heaven to Hell or the Heaven to Hell Gold, so I did both.



In Death Valley - That's 6:26 AM central time, it's very dark in Death Valley at 4:26 AM.

Y'know, it's worth it just for that sharp looking cert alone... dang it, guys, now it's on my list for this year. ARGH!
