Helping on a new SS1K

I swear I saw something about helping new riders obtain their first SS1Ks,

I think it had something to do with the new riders submission however it may also have had some fee advantage for the new rider or designation for the current IBA member.

Was I simply imagining this during a dazed after a particularly long ride or does anyone remember seeing it?

I have searched here as well as my emails.

The only thing I could think of was for Memorial Day. If you completed a ride that included Memorial Day and assisted a novice to earn their IBA # then the fee was waived for the veteran.
