We're in test mode, so go ahead and post. But you may not get too many replies. :)

Very nice to view on a mobile device as well!

I do have a question about the old forum, though...

It's an incredible source of data. Will it be transferred to this forum?

Due to design differences and the cost of custom software to make the move, we are NOT moving over old posts from the current forum. However, the current forum will be available for viewing until December 31, 2019 when those licenses expire. At that time the database will be archived into a simple text format so we have a way to search it, even if it won't be pretty to view.

Thanks for that information. I can understand the issue with custom software costs. One might hope that whatever format the legacy forum data is transferred to, it becomes easily searchable. I've spent a few days' home here lately; reading thru some of that decade-old material there was quite entertaining.

I suppose my follow-up question will be - once this forum has it's "600 mile break-in" checkout, will the original forum be placed in a read-only mode? From a user's perspective (not to mention the hard working admin staff!) be rather tough to try and have two forums to manage - and the discussion threads that could be at either location could also be quite confusing.

Thanks - and appreciate the look behind the curtain! Happy Holidays to you and all of the IBA crew!
