I seem to be doing ride planning type activity. Hmmm.
Dates of leave and tolls and stuff...
I wonder what that means?

You can get a Linkt account that covers you for Australia (well, the East Coast, at least- I haven't tried SA or WA). It's a deposit and top-up system, and you don't need a tag on a bike- they use NPR (Number Plate Recognition). It automatically tops up your account at a certain level.

I have used both Emupass and Linkt, yo only need to set up an account with credit card detail. No need for a transponder.

Me thinks that ODD couple from up Newcastle way might be looking at a Spider in the shed. And not the eight legged variety. Elwyn and I are on the move AGAIN. This time back to Bairnsdale, don't ask. The Minister for Finances and Entertainment informed me there might be some change left after the move to allow me to go riding in the wider country. We'll see.
