I started quite close to home in NW Tucson, so there is a small amount of overlap. At one time or another, I've ridden every single mile of that route in the past. Some stretches - a LOT of times, others, maybe only a handful. The road thru the Tohono O'odham Nation is good in the eastern half, the western half still is in need of some upgrading. Obviously, riding it when I did, aux lighting was quite helpful - when I could use it. I ws truly amazed at the amount of oncoming traffic I had out there between 4am and 6am.

East along AZ-86, just west of the Tucson metro area, there's some road construction I wanted to avoid, so the route dipped south to Valencia Road. I found out (at 4am) there was road construction there as well (see post 1 again...)

Those little tweaks - and the jaunt to San Luis made certain I had the mileage accounted for.

Feel free to PM me if you need further info.
