Well done Dave, a great use of your time ;) .....As one of our riders recently posted "My certificate (if I ever get around to doing the paperwork) will read the same as a rider who took 49hrs 59mins." A great effort

Just viewing the SPOTS of Olaf, Martin and Rob and Frog.... heading toward Coolgardie

It looks like Martin, Olaf and Frog are ahead of Rob by 30 mins or so, and maybe left Scarborough earlier?

Some pics from when we intercepted the boys heading west at Hay on Friday. Rob and Vlad powered past the servo without stopping. Sorry for the delay but we just got home from our Hay Plains Drifting!

KiwiMartin at Hay

Missing a thong Martin?

Here's Olly arriving

Dynamic Duo, Olly and Martin

With Olly's long range fuel tank, the servo attendant was dipping the tank to check he still had fuel available.

Dave and Olly

Olly looking happy

Dave's Harley looks the goods for the trip

Martin leads the way west from Hay

Is that the way to go? Yes Olly Perth is straight ahead

The one, two shuffle

Now that is relaxed riding, the GS of Olly's is well set up for this caper

On the Hay Plains with Dave and his Harley

I am glad they are passing through here in daylight. It is bucketing down all the way to Pooncarie, Balranald and Hay. After this dry spell, that just means there will be pools of water on the sides of the road.

Rob just arrived at Border Village (his last fuel stop for the day) before heading to Ceduna for sleep.
He is travelling well and talking to him he still seems to be on his game.

Scott (Vlad) was already at BV as Rob arrived.
Martin and Olaf are well past Mundrabilla and getting closer to Eucla, so they are not too far behind.

Keep up the good work :)

David Rolfe, having had a good rest in Perth, started his trip home earlier this afternoon.
He is intending to play "the tourist" on his more casual eastbound journey.

Just spoke to Martin - he's almost at BV and in good spirits. More headwinds again this arvo and its pulling his fuel range down so he's planning to stop at BV for fuel and food before the night run across to Ceduna.

I think he and Olle are aiming to reach Ceduna around 12.30am Eastern time and looks like they're on track at this stage.

Just past midnight here in the east - Monday morning.

Rob (and Scott?) have just made Ceduna. Olly and Martin are about an hour west.

Roughly 2000km from Coogee and 30 hours available - including the well earned nap time now.

They'll have time to do some washing and wander around looking for oysters. Oh yeah, then get back on and do a dayride home.
