Sad to hear of Ed's passing. I was lucky enough to have enjoyed some extended rides & chats with him over the years, most memorably on the DHTS ride, at Silverton after the Farride out there, and then in March 2021 when we rode together for an extended period on the way back from the Cooyar Farride, including dinner in Tamworth and lunch in Rylstone the next day.

Taken far too soon.

Condolences to Kathleen and extended families

Ed's Funeral details

2pm Friday 7th October
Pinegrove Memorial Park - North Chapel,
Kingston St, Minchinbury.

Kathleen was also wondering if it would be possible for any riders attending to do a motorcycle escort of the hearse through the cemetery to the chapel. Let me know so I can pass on numbers to the co-ordinator.

There will also be an online stream of the service for those that can't make it.

I heard the news last week with much sadness.
I hadn't seen Ed for many years, but we crossed paths quite a bit years ago, mostly active in FarRiders.
Ed was a bright spirit, always had a smile, and was very supportive of others if struggling, unwell or in need.
Usually accompanied by the young and very cheeky Ethan.
I managed to scrounge up a couple of photos from the past.

At a RTE to Urana, in November 2014, to support Mel when she shifted up there.

At a dinner in Tahmoor NSW, in September 2015, with many others, supporting Pat and Julie after Pat was diagnosed.
