Need help with Spotwalla

I'm new to using Spotwalla with the bubbler mobile app. I was wondering why it does not follow the route I'm taking and cuts across from point to point. I have adjusted the density and it still does not seem to help. Is this just one of the quirks of the app?

Even at its most frequent setting, Bubbler will only update your position, at best, every five minutes with at least a displacement of 100 meters from the previous update. The faster you move, the further apart will be those five minute fixes with straight lines drawn between them.

I have adjusted the density and it still does not seem to help.

Adjusting the density only affects how many of your location pings you see on the map. It doesn't affect how many times your device sends location info.

And to be sure, spotwalla never follows roads, it's just ping to ping mapping. The map shows where your pings occurred and connects them. It's not a track like some GPS units will show.

I don't know about using Bubbler or anything else with it but it will using SWTracker on an iPhone. You have to setup a "Track" on the phone and select that track in Spotwalla in the "Track Overlay" tab. It will create a continuous blue line so accurate, you can even tell which parking space you parked in.

The Certifiers don't want nor need that detail and you can turn it off if you wish.
