Kudos for riding that distance but as someone in his crew said: "He has nothing to concentrate on other than himself..."
Imho that means the assistance of a professional pit crew, the support of a well known motorcycle brand and meticulous preparation and planning in order to achieve the goal: commercial attention to the brand - all of which he had indeed not to concentrate on.
The gathering of fuel receipts, keeping documentation, watching time table, going through traffic, improvising road blocks, cursing wrong turns, fighting traffic laws, scaring wildlife... are but a few of items that come to mind whilst riding a run like ours. I also do not forget the financial implications in our case.
Respect for rider Cervantes - of course and well done - but it is not an IBA performance.
As always: no disrespect intended.
Stay Safe,
Ed.
