No Word on Sept 2024 Saddle Sore 1000

As long as your documentation is correct, you can submit a ride for certification years later. This past summer I did just that. I submitted for two rides I did back in '17 before I even submitted my first ride for approval.

I submitted my application (SS1000) via email on September 16, 2024, and received an acknowledgment immediately. However, I have not received any further updates since then. Last month, I followed up through the “Contact Us” page but have yet to hear back. I’m now reaching out here on the forum to inquire about the status of my application.

Looking at the dates, you should be close, but then again, it does take time. Six to seven months might be on the long side of things, but it's 100% a function of documentation. If the ride is documented clear enough that a person can follow it, then there should be little doubt that it'll get certified.

Patience, grasshopper. Go for another ride. :)

Thank you for the update. I hope there won’t be any issues. I submitted the Google Maps and SpotWalla links along with all the receipts and a separate log sheet. I will wait patiently.

smtm50,

Not sure why but Canadian rides take longer. Double check your spam and junk mail folders in the mean time. (We can always pick on Canada Post, but this time they are probably not to blame.)

It's the exchange rate that does it...

I checked, and there’s nothing there.
Gmail only retains spam for 30 days, so anything older has been automatically deleted.

If we knew your name, we could look it up and see if you were already approved. Would not be the first time someone was posting about how long it takes only to find out their ride was certified months ago...

You can look my name up if it’s easy enough. Jimmy Pendleton
Submitted electronically same day (9/12/24) for SS 1000 ridden in the states. Rockmart ga…Jackson Ms….Memphis Tn…Nashville tn…Chattanooga tn….Marietta ga….and back to Rockmart ga. I think it was around 1090 odo miles which isn’t really close. Pretty much interstate the whole way except for beginning and tail end.
I never got an acknowledgment email but didn’t think much of it. I’ve checked spam and all folders.
If there was something lacking on my end, I’m asssuming I’d be notified. If it’s just a matter of waiting longer, that’s great. Just hope it’s not lost somehow.

Here: Syed Muhammad Tahir Muzammil.
Thanks Stephen for looking into this.

Neither in the ride database as approved at the time of this posting. No access to the approval que so that remains a mystery. Sorry.

It's a year now since I submitted my application and still I haven't heard anything back. Can someone please check and advise what's going wrong with my application?
