In the process of registering, my PayPal on the supposed smart phone has gone into a death spiral, will probably need to fire up the laptop.

I'm another one that's signed up, with the no option to order a T shirt or patch, and also had to pay for a tent pitch for the weekend, as the Squires Café website directs you to their booking site, Pitch Up, and no option to tell them your there for the RBLR1000.
So if anyone is doing the north 1000, anticlockwise, I look forward to seeing you there Friday evening.

Well done, it is a great ride/weekend. With the camping there is no need to book a pitch, just turn up.

I'm really looking forward to this year RLBR1000, it's my second and this time I'm doing the southern anticlockwise after doing the northern route first time round and I'm also considering the figure 8 in July if this goes well. I did a 300 mile test ride last weekend just to try out some of the bike mods I've been making.

We will have to compare notes on set ups, I've been prepping for weeks adding safety and comfort mods.

What’s your ride mrmac
A Goldwing same as you, mine is a 2012 plate but an 09 version. I've recently added an obligatory cup/drink holder, rider backrest, bluetooth connection for the radio, foot boards and motorway pegs so I can stretch my legs on the long run. The only thing I've not sorted is an auxillary tank to extend my milage. What have you added or modded on yours?

Nope, mines black, Ive been hunting for some fog / low lights but not found any that aren't stupidly expensive. Ive only got a 170 ish mile trip to get to Leeds but its gonna be coming at the end of a busy week teaching so Ill be heading up as soon as I finish on the friday, pitching up and getting my head down for the 5am start. I lucked out with mine when I got it as it has heated seats front and back as well as grips. Satnav is rubbish though and hasn't been updated since the stone age so Im gonna be using the Tom Tom app or Google maps to navigate around the route.

Mine are colights led very good and have good height cut off so shouldn’t dazzle on coming cars I actually have spare set here I can bring them with me if your interested. They cost me £100 very easy to wire up and they are switched with a remote control switch you can mount on handle bars.

Yeah please do, I'll give them a look. If I have them off you I doubt I'll get them wired in on the carpark at squires but still a great addition to the bike and will make running in fog feel a lot safer.
