Note... This is often called the Iron Butt Challenge but that confuses it with normal Iron Butt rides and rallies.

It's a special Saddlesore 1000 known as the RBLR1000.

That's the Royal British Legion Riders 1000

Yes thanks to all the RBLR helpers and to the IBA helpers, it was all really well organised.
I made a plan, rode the plan and it went "swimmingly".
See some of you next Saturday at the RTE.
Regards Bob

Well done and massive thank you to all the volunteers that make it possible for us to ride. It must be a tough job standing out there looking after everyone all weekend.

Yet again a well organised event ran like clockwork.

I really enjoyed the ride even though the weather was not always the best.

It was nice to see some familiar faces and also there appeared to be a lot of first timers who may do some more events.

I might sit this one out next year and do a standalone ride and a rally. So if you need an extra pair of hands I’m happy to come and volunteer wherever needed for the weekend.
I did a few photos and videos.

Cheers.
Lee.

Excellent video Lee giving a good insight of an SS1000 and the RBLR1000 in under 5 minutes! Good enough for an IBA/RBLR promotional video too. Well done on another successful SS1000 and the video production
