Ride certification

I did some saddlesore rides and a coast to coast rides 15 years ago. I have forgot everything I knew. I am 90 years old now and want to do a saddlesore and coast to coast ride from Charleston South Carolina to San Francisco. Can the rides still be certified by dated gas tickets, or do I need to notify the association prior to the ride.

Im already an IBA member and finished the 50CC a couple of weeks ago. Ive assembled all the supporting documents and ready to mail everything in for certification. Is there any other documents, forms, paperwork needed, money? The only form Ive found seems to apply to SS and BB rides.
