Hotel Booked . Hopefully be doing the Sweden Euro rally the week before, then spending the next week traveling along the Norwegian coast with a few others then dropping down to this rte.
Anyone welcome if you want to come along.
By the way Mike the 3 swords monument looks well worth a visit never seen anything like that.

Let me spice this one up a bit for you:

Lindesnes - Nordkapp is the Norwegian equivalent of John O' Groats - Lands End.
A challenge either which way one chooses to travel.

The internet is sprinkled with reports of people covering the distance on...

bike, (7 days 9 hours solo)
http://www.hustadnes.net/Tur/Stunt/Norge_PL_Robert.htm

(5 days, 3 hours, 24 minutes as a team)
https://www.sportsklubbenrye.no/nytt/2000/2000-07-15c.htm

hike, (86 days)
http://www.adressa.no/sport/sprek/article10076359.ece

Ecodriving:

https://www.aftenposten.no/bil/Rekord-Kjorte-Lindesnes---Nordkapp-pa-73_5-liter-diesel-7338b.html
73,5 liter diesel used...

https://www.nrk.no/sapmi/hundevandrer-1.7348374
Walking the dog...

Go skateboarding...

http://www.tungt.no/logistikk/inter...e-lindesnes---nordkapp-pa-gaffeltruck-2005276
Forklift ( 17 days )

Whilst on Terra Firma, only Norwegian roads are allowed.

Using Swedish roads adds to the distance, but is much much quicker than the narrow Norwegian road net.
Still - to make it count one needs to stay on the right side of the border.

But, you could also:

Go solo sailing

Paddle your kayak

See were all this is going? :D

2518 km is a good BB 1500, and could be turned in to a fine cut BB2500K if receips are managed well.
But, is it doable with in the 36 hour time frame...?

...and with the very conservative Norwegian speed limits in mind?

Anyone who takes on this challenge, has also to consider the very special Modus Operandi of the Norwegian Police:

very interesting post!
For a BB1500 there is around 1 hour additional time reuired for the fuel receipt in Honningsvag and Spangeraid - so with the Speed Limits should be hardly possible.

How come this ride has changed dates ?
Several of the riders doing the Sweden Rally were going to tour Norway the week after then go to the rte.
Or have i got it wrong.
