I have owned a Himalayan for two months and travelled 3700 miles. I am pleased with this machine well beyond my expectations and would be pleased to know of others experiences? I am considering using the Himalayan for long distance rides / tours. To date my longest day is 300ish miles.

With a new bike like that, it should be no problem doing a SS1K. A route that is 95% two lane road has a ride time of less than 20 hours.
