Submitting a nested ride

If this answer already exists, I apologize for not finding it! I am a Premier plus member for the past year but haven't had any rides to submit recently. Last weekend I did a memorial Saddlesore for a friend who passed away last year and nested it in a 36 hour Bun Burner. I need help with how I go about submitting it.

I'm not much of a nester but I would just submit the two rides separately.

Document the SS1000M as usual from the start up to the 1000 mile finish point with witness form or dash + docket photo. Submit that ride with PayPal fee.

Document the BB1500M as usual from the start up to the 1500 mile finish point with witness form or dash + docket photo. Submit that ride with PayPal fee.

There's some good info and useful links embedded here - https://www.ironbutt.com/premierapp/

Hope you took photos of your odo with your dated business receipts during the ride.

This week I used the inst-cert approach (method 2 in the linked doc above) for the first time for a ride last weekend. Insta-cert was very easy to use and, even with the IBR in full swing (and I assume many certifiers particularly busy), my ride was certified in 10 hours. It's a great step forward, though I must say that I never had a problem using the 'old' ride verification process.

I just did two nested rides including a SS1000 nested in a BB1500 as you specifically mention.

I used the instacert process as outlined here.
https://www.ironbutt.com/premierapp/instacert.pdf

using the link through the store.
https://riders.ibaestore.com/premier/pages/submitRide.cfm

I used one submission for both the main/top level ride and the nested ride, do not submit the nested ride separately.
I did so based on these instructions.

When applying for a nested certification within a longer event you must tell the verification team specifically that you are claiming the shorter event. In the cover letter for the cert package put in a remark that clearly states your request. For example; "During this 50cc Quest coast to coast challenge I rode the first 1,500+ miles in under 24 hours and claim Bun Burner Gold credit. I have included the added fee for certification of the BBG along with my 50cc fee."

I added my note just as above and when I payed my fee I added the $20 fee for the nested ride to the amount for the main ride certification fee.

You will need to provide a separate Spotwalla trip link for each ride. One single link for the main cert is not acceptable as your finish point for the nested SS1000 is different.
