Hi, there is a thread in the Australian IBA section on this topic, but for those who don't read Facebook, or that other section of this forums site, here's my ride report for what I think is the first ever, NZ based ANZAC Day Ride.

The rules for this special theme ride are here: http://www.ironbutt.com/themerides/anzacride/

For me to be able to give this a go, the Australian IBA guys had to amend the rules - details here: https://forum.ironbutt.org/index.php?threads/anzac-ride-no-longer-an-australian-only-option.1997/

Anyway, that's all background - my ride report for my NZ ANZAC Day SaddleSore Ride is here: https://www.wiltshire.net/2018/04/26/anzac-ride-ss1600-2018/

I did this on my Yamaha R1 (which has been lightly modified for Long Distance riding), this is my third SaddleSore on that bike. The ride report contains photos from the ride, as well as few video clip links too. At parts the conditions on the ride were near freezing, this is not a time of year which you would normally choose to do such a ride in NZ, as we're entering into our winter.

Greetings from 47 degrees north.

Congratulations. Followed the link and enjoyed your ride report.

I find 40F the break even point on wearing winter gloves.
