1. LDRider
2. FB - not my first choice, but seems to be several others. (of a particular age, of which I am)
3. This Forum, but I'm not on as often as I really should be.
4. Premiere member newsletters. Miss the magazine, but know it was expensive and time consuming.

Haven't been FB as much the last couple years, but have found myself now spending more time on Instagram. Seems that the younger members of my family prefer Instagram.

Just a comment about what was posted a bit earlier:

I also follow multiple threads on ADVrider.
There's one about general LD riding, mainly various people's cert rides - Iron Butt Adventures https://advrider.com/f/threads/iron-butt-adventures.1187139/
One about rallying, but it gets less traffic - Road Rally nOOb - https://advrider.com/f/threads/road...lies-welcoming-more-road-rally-n00bs.1083792/
And every other year someone starts a thread about the IBR - 2019 Iron Butt Rally Thread - https://advrider.com/f/threads/2019-iron-butt-rally-thread.1384517/
Other than the IBR thread that happens a bit before the start of every rally, those are but a small sample of what happens on many other motorcycle-based forums. Many users I see here are seen there - and at other forums.

ADVrider is rather unique in that it's (still) a very large and successful forum that caters to not just 'adventure bikes & adventure rides' (whatever definition you'd choose to hang on those words...), but there's a lot of other motorcycle (and non-motorcycle) discussion there.

Would some of that conversation go well here? For some users, it might, but it goes well at that location. There is a significant number of riders who might well be hearing about our style of riding from some of the gray-beard contingent that may or may not be users of more modern social media channels. In turn, they would pass along that to perhaps younger friends & colleagues "old-school message forum for all things motorcycle!".

Obviously not enough sample size for any meaningful conclusion, though maybe there's a glimpse of an answer being revealed. What this *does* show is the fracturing of general news among the membership, as we'd established when we had the discussion here on the list.

The intriguing part (to me)? Similar results between FB and the LD Rider email list. Is this 'old' vs. 'new' showing up?

Yes, Premiere Members do get the periodic email on news and topics that might be news to some on topics on interest that are generally related to long distance endurance motorcycling.

Quite a few interesting comments above made in conjunction with the poll as a part of this thread.

Thanks for your input!
