CT on K1600GTL

Wondering if anyone has any experience/advice/opinions on putting a CT on a BMW K1600 GTL?

I'm pretty sure Ken Meese ran one and John and Ande Good run one on their k1600. I believe it requires a spacer to be made, and that Ernie Azevedo made that part for both of them. Not sure if it was the stock rim, or an aftermarket steel car rim.
