Looks like the spot tracks gone dark (ironically) due to a permissions issue and the 24 hr delayed start. I have a plan B;);)

Port Augusta done and dusted. All good. Just this minute got off the phone from Michael. Both are good after an 8 hour break at Marla. Everything OK with both and the bike.

Received a phone call from Fatman at 8.30 pm. EST. They had found an enjoyable establishment to dine at in Tailem Bend. They are 45 mins. ahead of their schedule, and will be returning home earlier than planned. I have tried to keep interested members informed without "giving their plan away". I don't think I've been successful. I believe Derrick maybe joining them at Ararat, Whilst myself, my wife Elwyn and Wingman will be at their finish to welcome them home, maybe even sign some paperwork.

All home safe & sound. As noted I picked up the intrepid duo @ Ararat, Nev joined in @ Ballarat & Nico @ Pentland Hills before we negotiated road works to end up back at the start point.

Met by Hackle & his wife Elwyn, and Des rounded it out.

After a quick chat we left for all points of the compass, fighting road closures depending on direction.

Congrats Lynn & Michael on a successful round trip!

PS - I let Hackle take care of the pics ;););):p:p:D:D

Out of bed with the alarm at 2.30 am., quick check of the puter and see the spot showing Ballarat 17 mins. ago. "Hurry up Elwyn, we'll have to get a wriggle on". Well a wriggle we did get on, as much as the restrictions on the Monash Sloway allowed. Arrived 5 mins. prior to Lynne and Michael escorted by Derrick, Nev and Nico. Des [Wingman] joined the party a few moments later. Top effort "knights". When I last spoke to Michael he sounded fresh, looking at him now, he looked the same. Lynne said something about being like their patented ROOted deterent system, "not sure what she meant"!!!
With lots of hugs and kisses swapped, then paperwork signed we moved inside the servo for warmth. Yes I did take lots of photos, and yes the will be posted when I give them to Michael this afternoon. Some would know that Derrick and myself attended the same class for photo posting.
And so it ended, another chapter in the ever growing book of achievements of our very own "dynamic duo".

I meant to add a big thanks to Wingman and Derrick for seeing us off on Wed morning, sorry to Hackle when we changed the date which meant he couldn't be there.

To Derrick, Nev and Nico for riding along with us this morning, and of course Wingman and Hackle with Elwyn for being there at the finish also.

Thank you to all who followed our ride over the last few days.

Oops nearly forgot. A special thanks to Wendy for meeting us at Noonamah and escorting us back to her house where we enjoyed Wendy's and her daughter Danae's hospitality. Wendy then went back to work for some time, only to get up early to show us the way to the Shell servo in Darwin. Legend!
Thanks to both of you.
