We know you all have a sense of humour because you keep electing people who think that the solution to gun violence is - more guns.

It's not like we have folks in Great Britain that elect people who may be untruthful or involved in acts which may be considered unlawful.......

Keep in mind that in these modern times, a large percentage of voters in 1st world countries don't vote for anyone anymore. We have been relegated to voting against the candidate that is most objectionable. The last US presidential election was a no-win situation, imho. I'm sure you have parallels in the UK/EU.

As far as the joke goes, depending on the venue, in the US, you'd get a laugh or a lawsuit and some in between. A former co-worker had 7 children between 6 different women, only two that he had been married to. It's not just women that might relate to that joke.
